OUR STORY

In 1995,16 pristine hillside acres located in San Diego County just 15 miles from the Pacific ocean became available for purchase. Realizing the potential for not only growing avocados, the Laureti family envisioned their dream home sitting amongst the trees on top of the mountain. The land already had about 1500 water deprived trees barely hanging on to life with only the limited Southern California winter rains. Immediately following the purchase of the land, a well was drilled, and its water was sent through the newly built irrigation system. The trees flourished and fruit was plentiful. Up until recently the fruit was picked and sold to the various wholesalers.

Over the past year or so, I decided to provide the avocados direct to the consumer. Part of the reason to do so was many friends and family who ate the avocados produced from my grove complimented how good they were and if they could be shipped to them directly. This was done without issue. The also liked the fact pesticides were not used on the trees. I love being amongst the trees and enjoy picking the fruit for my own table. I thought being able to order directly from my grove, and without the refrigeration process done by the wholesaler and grocery stores, my customers will get to enjoy the flavor and taste of an avocado that naturally ripens off the tree.
